Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This website, mountaintop-plumbing.com, is run by Mountaintop Plumbing and its drain cleaning division, Mountaintop Rooter & Repair LLC, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. This page explains what information the site collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.
What you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you type in. Depending on the form, that can be:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your street address (on the emergency request form)
- The service you need, how urgent it is, and any details you write about the problem
Some forms on our drain cleaning pages also send which page you were on and, if you clicked an ad to get here, which ad it was.
If you call or email us directly, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us.
What we do with it
We use your information to:
- Answer your request and call or email you back
- Schedule, do, and bill for the work you ask us to do
- Give you the free plumbing checklist, if you asked for it
When you send a form, it comes to our business email inbox. If you hire us, we keep your name, contact details, address, and job records in the software we use to schedule and track our work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share your phone number or any other details with anyone for their own marketing.
We only share information with the companies that help us run the business, and only so they can do that job. That means our web host (GoDaddy), our email provider, and the software we use to schedule jobs. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site keeps a basic record of each visit: your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection), your browser type, the pages you open, and the time.
Our web host, GoDaddy, adds a small script to every page that GoDaddy says monitors the site's performance. That script saves three cookies (small files) in your browser: _tccl_visitor, _tccl_visit, and _scc_session. The first one lasts about a year. The other two expire within a day. GoDaddy runs that script, and GoDaddy's own privacy policy covers what it collects.
Our own pages set no cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or social media tracking pixels on this site.
The pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers to download them, and Google receives your IP address when that happens.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works the same without them.
Links to other sites
This site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to our Google reviews. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover them.
Children
This site is for adults arranging plumbing work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Keeping your information safe
The site uses an encrypted connection (the padlock in your browser's address bar), so what you type into our forms is protected on its way to us. We keep your information only as long as we need it to serve you, keep our business records, and meet legal requirements.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call or email us using the details below. We may need to keep some records, like invoices, when the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
